Evergreens travelled away to Watton II and were put under pressure from the pushback. Watton grabbed an early goal which forced ‘greens to up their game. Evergreens created some good goal scoring opportunities but it was Watton who scored the next goal. Evergreens continued to work hard which was rewarded with a great goal by Natasha Bates. Unfortunately Watton quickly regained their goal difference. Lizzy Walton made a great run down the right wing putting in a fantastic cross which Katie Taylor converted.

With the score board reading 3-2 at half time to Watton, Evergreens were unfortunate to not to capitalise on the number of short corners they were awarded in the second half. Naomi Holl worked tirelessly and eventually scored the equaliser following a great run. ‘Greens managed to hold off the Watton defence, getting a well deserved point.
