Evergreens started the game on the back foot with Norwich pressuring them from the start. Norwich took an early lead as the result of a cross from a long corner. Evergreens then upped their game with the consistent Naomi Holl proving a rock in the midfield. The increased pressure was rewarded with a goal.

Tash Bates struck the ball, which took a deflection off a defenders stick, taking it over the line. Soon after, following continued pressure, Evergreens got their second goal following a goal mouth scramble. Kathryn Gordon getting the killer touch. The second half saw Norwich come out stronger and hold the majority of the possession. Evergreens made some good breaks and created several chances but could not convert. Some resolute defending from Tracy Daglish helped keep Norwich at bay, however they finally broke through the Evergreens defence 2 minutes from time to earn a share of the points.
